  1. W Phillips Says:

    Firefox 1.0 with Fangs 0.81
displays the text ‘These are hidden words”.

  2. Nick Fitzsimons Says:

Safari 1.3 (v312) displays a single capital T aligned with the left margin.

  3. Adrian Says:

Opera 8 displays the text ‘These are hidden words’’.

Can’t test voice at work though ;)

  4. Marco Says:

IE 6.0 (PC) displays the first letter like the Safari 1.3 result. The weird thing though is once you resize the browser window in any way, the letter disappears and doesn’t return. I was sure that Fangs 0.81 displayed the text, but I’ll have to confirm that when I get home.

  5. Bob Easton Says:

    Jaws 5.0 with IE 6:
    hidden test is spoken
first letter of text is displayed.

  6. Bob Easton Says:

IBM Home Page Reader 3.04 with embedded IE:
    hidden text is spoken
first letter of text is displayed

  7. Bob Easton Says:

    Fangs displays the hidden words.
    Firefox hides the hidden words.

  8. Bob Easton Says:

Opera 7.54 DOES NOT hide the hidden words.

  9. Bob Easton Says:

DOES NOT hide the hidden words.

    speaks the hidden words

  12. Charles Belov Says:

    Jaws 4.0 with IE 6.0
    Virtual Cursor on - yes/T r e s (spread across the page)
    Virtual Cursor off - reads “T h”/no
Virtual Cursor on is default unless user has set their preferences to off.

By the way, in your table containing the results of your first test of browser tests, the left half of the first column is getting cut off in IE 6 in an 800 x 600 maximized browser window, that is, I can’t see it.
